There are three types of stainless steel pipe fittings

We are a company specializing in the design and manufacture of stainless steel fittings, stainless steel elbows, stainless steel tees and stainless steel flanges. Today, I will introduce the three types of stainless steel pipe fittings.

Stainless steel pipe fittings are usually connected in three ways: butt welding, socket type and snap type:

1. Socket welding

The pipe is inserted into the pipe socket part of the pipe, and then the pipe is argon arc welded along the edge of the pipe. It is the most commonly used connection method for stainless steel pipe fittings and the most reliable and stable connection method.

2. Butt welding

Stainless steel pipes and fittings are welded by argon arc welding along the butt joint. The outer diameter of the pipe joint is the same as the outer diameter of the pipe joint. This method is usually used for the connection of larger piping systems.

3. Press connection

Working principle: Insert the thin-walled stainless steel pipe into the socket of the compression type pipe joint, and use a special clamping tool to clamp the stainless steel pipe into the pipe joint. The cross-sectional shape of the clamping portion is hexagonal, and O is between the stainless steel pipe and the pipe fitting. The sealing ring can seal the leakage seal, pull-out resistance, impact resistance and high pressure resistance.

Features: High connection reliability, convenient and fast construction, maintenance-free, suitable for embedded installation.
